Any publication of this kind must be analysed in the unity of the two aspects -synchronical and diachronic, because it is important not only to understand, how the structure of the text was originally formed, but also to see what changes have occurred from edition to edition. The objective of this study is to analyze the transformation of Soviet ideology and its indirect expression in “The Book of Delicious and Healthy Food”. An important feature of the study supported the idea that the ideological message is contained not only in direct introductory articles, but also “read” in the recommendations in the “Notes on the margins”, introductory articles, recipe sections. An important task is to identify in the text structure a model for a new society and the ways it was imposed through gastronomic practices of the Soviet citizen.
