In the article the problem of formation of patriotism as the perceived love for the motherland is considered. It emerges from the solidarity of interests of the State and personality in interaction with their homeland, its values and meanings, the desire of prosperity to all peoples in the past, present and future. The author sees socio-cultural need and didactic possibility of overcoming the postulates of imperative ethics on the pedagogical basis of the moral-orienting ethics
