The present research work is devoted to study of low-temperature thermoluminescence (TL) of beryllium oxide crystals. Both the pristine and additively colored synthetic beryllium oxide crystals were examined in this research. The last have been obtained through the high-temperature thermochemical treatment in the metallic beryllium vapor. The naturally occurring bromellite mineral was also examined in this research. The TL glow curves were recorded over the broad temperature range from 8 to 850 K. The main essential feature for all examined crystals was the TL glow peak at 85.4 K indicating typical recombination process being inherent to all the beryllium oxide crystals studied.
