A software package (SP) for simulation of electric and mechanical processes in the electric drives of drilling rigs (DR) is presented. The DR are based on the DC motors with thyristor control. The SP ensures high efficiency of studying the operation modes of DR electric drives and engineering search of optimal solutions during stage of designing the DR electric equipment.
