Processes in copper subjected to annealing after room-temperature severe deformation by rolling and torsion under pressure are studied by metallographic, duromelric, calorimelric, and X-ray diffraction analyses. The factors of recovery and recrystallization are revealed in specimens after torsion, particularly, those hampering grain growth up to 250°C.
