N2 - A mathematical simulation of the heat transfer processes proceeding in the melting chamber of the regenerative cross-fired tank furnace with three pairs of ports is performed. A zonal model of the furnace laboratory is developed to determine the optimal variant of the heat load distribution over ports. Theoretical evaluation of the heat load in the case of increased (to 50%) productivity of the tank is carried out with allowance for stability of the masonry elements.
