Based on original technical solutions, Uralmashplant PJSC restored decommissioned backup cold rolls for the 1300 mill of VIZ-Stal LLC and 1400 mill of NLMK PJSC, which ensured high performance characteristics subsequently. Under the shortage of cast rolls, restoring their performance with an innovative banding technique serves as a significant reserve for increasing the efficiency of rolling production and the quality of finished rolled products for almost all Russian metallurgical enterprises.
