The general concepts of the mathematical support of the technological SAD subsystem were formulated. The principles of deriving mathematical model of heat operation of a furnace are described. The basic equations for the combined solution of the external and internal problems of heat and mass exchange are given with allowance for specific character of physicochemical aspects of glass melting.
