A procedure for the separation of the contributions of two liquid phases making up a binary metallic melt with a miscibility gap to its diffraction pattern is proposed. The simulation of the structures of two such liquids in the Ga-Pb system indicates that they are qualitatively different: the liquid phase based on the component with a lower melting point is microinhomogeneous, and the liquid based on the component with a higher melting point exhibits a virtually statistical atomic distribution.
