Observations of the de Haas van Alphen effect have been made in recent years in metals with very high (up to 100) stoner intensification of the magnetic susceptibility. In interpreting such experiments, allowance must be made for the influence of electron interaction. This article presents analysis that accounts for the influence of electron interaction on determination of effective electronic masses with the help of the deHaas van Alpen effect.
