The gas dynamics of the sintering bed is analyzed. The proposed method for calculating the gas-dynamic parameters of sintering permits quantitative estimation of the gas permeability of the bed on the basis of data regarding the properties of the initial batch. This provides the basis for more profound analysis of the processes that accompany the sintering of iron ore.
