N2 - Transmission electron microscopy has shown the formation of two morphological types of the μ phase in the zone of a chromium aluminide coating on the ZhS36VI superalloy. Three types of orientation relationships between the crystal lattices of the μ and γ′ phases have been revealed. The origin of the revealed morphological and crystallographic characteristics of the μ phase has been established.
