An influence of oxide melt structure and environmental composition on kinetics of surfacial diffusion of the adsorbed oxygen particles during their electrochemical oxidation or reduction at the platinum electrode is considered. The kinetic equation is obtained that describes the stationary polarization characteristics of electrode in terms of slowed radial diffusion of the ad-particles at metal surface.
