The resistivity, kinematic viscosity and surface tension have been studied for SCh18 liquid gray iron as function of initial charge materials and temperatures. The micrononuniform structure after cast iron melting and the temperature range for structural transformation of melt are found. It is shown that the steel scrap increasing in the usable burden influences on structure of the casted iron articles.
