N2 - For the first time, the problem of studying the response of the domain structure of ferrimagnetic films to nonuniform steady-state temperature fields is posed. The results of the investigation of the domain structure of amorphous Gd-Co films placed in a "centrosymmetric" temperature field with a temperature gradient lying in the film plane are presented. The domain structure is shown to qualitatively and quantitatively reflect the gradient and symmetry of the temperature field created by a (conditionally) point heat source. The principal quantitative parameters that characterize the temperature gradient are the spacing of the labyrinthine domain structure and the coercive force of domain walls.
