title = "Cognitive Rehabilitation in Virtual Reality (Modern Review)",
abstract = "The article presents an overview of the current state of the problem of neurorehabilitation using virtual reality (VR) technologies. Due to the high prevalence of mild cognitive disorders among the elderly and senile, as well as the increasing proportion of this population group, this topic is particularly relevant. We have analyzed more than 200 scientific publications on neurorehabilitation virtual technologies. Traditional methods of cognitive rehabilitation (both drug and non-drug) affect only memory, attention, speech, spatial and temporal orientation. Among the many applications that use virtual reality technologies that work with intelligence, only six have been developed and are used for education and rehabilitation. Only five of the analyzed programs had an experimental base and scientific substantiation of the method. However, it turned out that all programs were developed on the basis of traditional methods of rehabilitation. Also, articles were found devoted to the study of the influence of virtual reality technologies on the process of rehabilitation of motor and cognitive functions in neurological patients.",
