N2 - An influence of slab machine parameters and continuous casting rate on skin deformation is analyzed. An elastic multiple-support beam of variable section under action of load, changing by linear law, is considered as a slab model. It is found that the pouring rate rise leads to decreasing in skin thickness, to ingot skin temperature increase and to material elasticity modulus lowering.
