N2 - On the base of diffraction investigations it is suggested to divide the metals into three groups by structure of melt short-order in the vicinity of melting temperature: 1) Ni, Co, Cu, Fe, Al, Ch, V, Mn, Ti, K, Na and superheated Zn, having close fcc or bcc structures; 2) Ag, Au, Pb, In, Pt, Pd, Zr, Mg, Cd, Sb and superheated Al, Bi, Sb, having close fcc, hcp and bcc structures; 3) Ga, Bi, Sn, Ge, Si with loose crystal structures.
