Results of the investigations demonstrate high-quality electrically fused baddeleite-corundum refractory materials. The materials have been utilized in the furnace. Influence of the materials on heat losses has been investigated. Calculations of designs of thermally insulated walls have been performed. Parameters of heat losses during efficient operation have been found.
