N2 - Processes of manufacturing the glass have been considered. It has been shown that design of glassmaking furnace should be improved. High-quality refractory materials are required in this case. In connection with this, properties of various refractory materials have been investigated. Results of the investigations demonstrate high-quality electrically fused baddeleite-corundum refractory materials. The materials have been utilized in the furnace.
