N2 - The purpose of this work was to investigate anisotropy of the magnetic induction and losses in a broad ribbon of amorphous alloy Fe80B14Si4C2. Results show that the anisotropy of magnetic induction and the losses are very weak for this alloy. Even so, the following basic laws were noted. After casting of the alloy, the magnetic induction in field reaches its greatest value in a transverse direction. The magnetic losses are less in that direction that along the length of the ribbon.
