State of scientific and technical developments in the field of complex processing the polymetallic ores is analyzed. The promising ways for implication of the titanomagnetite and ilmenite-titanomagnetite, brown-chromium and siderite ores as well as the wastes in active balance during realization of waste-free ecologically safe technologies are defined. Permissible consumption quota of fluorspar is ascertained on the base of studying the physicochemical properties of fluorine-containing slags of the converter shops. Novel process for steelmaking (<0.01%S, <0.01%P) by one-stage method from any iron-bearing burden is suggested, eliminating a formation of harmful substances.
