The analysis of the parasitic and endosymbiontofauna of the common newt (Lissotriton vulgaris L., 1758) in the natural and urban landscapes of the Middle Urals is presented for the first time. Four species of helminths belonging to the Nematoda type were found, including one taxon indeterminate to the species (Nematoda sp.) and one species of endosymbionts (phylum Chromista). The works devoted to the species composition of L. vulgaris parasites on the territory of Eurasia are analyzed. The fauna of the helminths of the common newt on the eastern slope of the Urals is depleted, which is probably determined by the limited distribution of the species outside Europe, the temperature regime in the north, and the availability of moisture in the south.
