IT-recruiting as a special type of activity in the field of management, due the digitalization is defined. It is shown that the improvement of the operational and communicative component of IT-recruiting can significantly reduce the risks of personnel decisions. The analysis of psychological studies of the cognitive and personal characteristics of programmers, as well as future specialists in the field of information technology, revealed the importance of analytical abilities and the lack of social skills. The narrowing of the focus of social attention and the stereotyping of communication models is considered as a limitation of the agile software development.
