The authors systematize the problematic field in the sphere of vocational training of learners with mild mental retardation and present the current directions for updating the content and technologies of training in the fields of labor training. On this basis, the conclusion is made that the development of technological education for learners with mild mental retardation and the professional development of teachers is advisable when using the resources of methodic work in educational institutions.
