The article is devoted to the study of the trust of Internet forum users in higher education. The author describes the specifics of Internet forums as a means of communication and as a source of information for sociological research. The article presents the results of a study conducted by the content analysis method of messages from users of Internet forums about higher education. As a result of this research, the author made the main conclusion that the level of trust in higher education, which is revealed among visitors to Internet forums, directly depends on the specifics of this means of communication. After all, forum users often use anonymity to vent aggression or make unpleasant statements. Hence, messages from Internet forums are often negative.
