This study examines the role of mass media in the cultural strategy of the Chinese Communist Party, paying special attention to the interaction between traditional culture and modern values. The analysis reveals that mass media, as the main channel of cultural communication under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, not only disseminate and promote traditional culture but also guide the expression and formation of modern values. Traditional culture is modernized and transformed in the media, interacting with modern values, thereby facilitating the integration and development of social culture. This article emphasizes the importance of leadership and control over the mass media by the Chinese Communist Party and explores future directions for media development in the Party's cultural strategy to promote the construction of a socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.
