The law novels concerning the guarantees of labour compensation in case of employer’s bankruptcy are being analized in the article. The current state of legislation in this area considered superficial and ineffective. It is necessary to develop a system of assured labour compensation in case of employer going buncrupt. The proposed foundation of the system are contributions from both government and employers, and possible liability of business owners. Economic obstacles may not justify the government’s and employers’ negligence to the problem.
