This paper presents the appearance mechanism of high butt and radial beats of joint flange after its landing on the shaft. The advanced hypothesis about the case of deformation" appearance of half-coupling after its landing on the shaft is confirmed by the nature of butt and radial beats change of half-coupling during landing and at operation. It is proposed to use methods of vibration treatment of the rotors during its manufacturing and repair for avoidance the abovementioned deformation of half-couplings and stabilization of turbines vibration conditions. The scheme, method and experimental results of vibration machining of the IP rotor of turbine Т-175/210-130 (Ural Turbine Works) are given.
