The purpose of the article is to develop a corporate culture model that forms common, equally understood values, norms and forms of behaviour by Chinese and Russian employees working in the same company in order to increase economic sustainability and opportunities for its development. The authors use a sociocultural approach, according to which it is assumed that the processes of formation and development of organizational culture are significantly influenced not only by economic conditions, applied concepts and management strategies, but also by the content of national culture. The main research methods used were as follows: analysis and generalization of thematic scientific data and literature, comparative analysis of business national cultures of China and Russia, observation and analysis of organizational behaviour of employees with different national mentality, expert judgment, conceptual modeling, survey, statistical analysis of empirical data. The main problems and shortcomings of the activities of joint Russian-Chinese enterprises, which reduce the growth of their efficiency, are studied. The main characteristics of national cultures common to Russia and China are considered. A conclusion about the possibility of developing an organizational culture with common values for Russian-Chinese and Chinese-Russian enterprises with international staff is made. The analysis of the basic principles of Chinese Doctrine of the Mean or Zhongyong was conducted. This philosophy was used as a methodological basis for the search for new approaches to corporate culture. The authors' model of corporate culture is presented. An analysis of its characteristics, development logic and the results of its primary validation was conducted.
