Currently, the search by the corporate sector for ways to improve the efficiency of construction organizations makes us pay attention to modern business administration practices. In particular, to solve a number of organizational issues, mainly related to the optimization of the cost of doing business in a constantly changing external and internal environment, they increasingly resort to the use of such methodological tools as lean construction, as well as technological Tools - information modeling of buildings (BIM). The article discusses the possibility of sharing these approaches with a view to improving the efficiency of the organization of the production process in the construction industry. An attempt has been made to assess the possibility of optimizing the Lean-management procedure in construction through the use of BIM-technologies. To achieve the goal, the authors considered the types of losses typical for construction organizations, and on their basis presented and characterized the directions of practical implementation of these principles. Based on the results of the study, it was possible to identify. That the principles underlying the lean construction have similarities with the principles and methods of information modeling of structures. It is appropriate to talk about the synergy between BIM-technologies and Lean construction. The authors found that BIM-technology contributes to Lean principles, and Lean principles and methods can be implemented using BIM-technologies, which allows to judge the advantages of sharing the principles of these concepts.
