The article presents the results of study about IT- specialists burnout, who working in uncertainty social and work - place invironment. Objectives: identification of typical vocational stress situations; connect between burnout and optimism, outher indicators of resilience and basic personal characteristics. The study revealed that resilience and optimism can be considered as potential personal resources for burnout prevention. On the other hand, experiences of vocational disadvantage and uncertainty of the organizational environment can contribute to the processes of burnout act as a catalyst for burnout) of IT specialists. The questions about negative assessments of the organizational environment as indicators of distrust of the organization or psychological insecurity of work in the organization, pessimistic life position or attitudes can increase the diagnostic capacity of the questionnaire "Professional burnout", standardized for specialists of socionomic professions and developed on its basis a new version for IT specialists.
