The work deals with factors determining the change of the content and level of well-being of the working population in the conditions of the transformation of the labor sphere caused by Industry 4.0. The authors propose an approach to evaluating employees' social and psychological welfare in the context of Industry 4.0 challenges. The authors identify potential areas of impact of global economic and social risks on labor relations in Russia and the world, depending on the rapidly changing external and internal factors and working conditions associated with the above-mentioned industrial revolution. The formulated conclusions are supported by the results of quantitative and qualitative empirical studies done by authors focusing on research of the influence degree of global economic and social risks of Industry 4.0 on the socio-psychological well-fare of workers of various categories.
