In this work, the results of a study aimed at increasing the effectiveness of teaching Chinese language to Russian students using modern educational technologies are presented. The authors point out disadvantages in existing practices of teaching Chinese grammar to Russian speakers. They state that learning a foreign language using the flipped classroom technology allows optimizing the teaching/learning process, giving students more freedom in language acquisition, the opportunity to independently conduct language reflection. The authors have postulated the need for national-linguistic orientation in teaching Chinese to Russian students using the case of explaining the use of the particle 了 (le) in the meanings of type-time suffix, modal particle, intensifying particle and adverb with amplifying meaning. The differences in understanding the state in Russian and Chinese are analyzed, and a plan for mastering the topic in accordance with educational technology under study is proposed. Practical recommendations for novice teachers of Chinese as a second foreign language preparing for classes are formulated.
