The authors reveal the rationale for the development of software and methodological support for the educational subject “Professional Labor”, the labor training profile “Professional cleaning operator (cleaning)” from the perspective of a theoretical analysis of literature and regulatory legal acts in the field of education of children with intellectual disorders. The main attention is paid to the content and indication of learners’ with mental retardation types of activities in the specified training profile during the period of their study from grades 6 to 9. Approximate options for thematic planning for individual sections of work programs, which have been tested in the practice of remedial schools, are presented.
