The process of rolling strips with finning used in the manufacture of evaporator tubes of low-temperature re-frigeration units is considered. For the application of rib fins, a four-high mill with an upper working profiled roll is used. To study the application of finning, a mathematical model of the deformation center was developed, which made it possible to determine the loads acting on the rolls of the rolling mill. A dynamic model for driving a four-high mill is also constructed, and a system of differential equations is compiled and solved. With the help of the obtained solution, the values of the elastic moments on the drive links of the mill and the dynamic coefficients in elastic bonds for each link are obtained. Torque measurements on the spindles of the main line of the mill, performed in the production of the experimental run of the finned strip, made it possible to verify the adequacy of the established procedure for determining the loads for the real rolling process.
