The article is devoted to the development of measures for engineering training for the development of the territory with the use of surface runoff detention systems. Engineering training activities are developed depending on the engineering and geological conditions of the site, taking into account the functional zoning and planning organization of the site. The object of the study is the territory within the boundaries of Luchistaya, Champions and EKAD streets in Yekaterinburg. 103 The result of the work carried out is a set of measures aimed at maintaining favorable conditions, reducing the load on rainwater drainage systems, taking into account the landscape features of the territory. The analysis of requirements of the existing normative documents regarding concerning a relative positioning of buildings in territories of garden and country associations or on the land plots intended for individual housing construction is also presented in article.
