The paper presents the results of testing the hypothesis about the impact of the country of origin of the company on the results of applying management practices in the field of project management in transport in Russia and Germany. The dependence of project completeness and customer satisfaction on the presence in the company of developed decision-making practices at the lowest level of managers and the scheme of their effec tive contracts was assessed. It is found that the transfer of management technologies depends on the country of origin of the company. The results of the analysis can be used in the development of innovation policies and at the company level for the design of business processes.
