News broadcasts on television, radio, printed materials and tapes on various Internet portals play a particularly important role in the daily lives of many people in advanced, economically developed countries. News has its own special news value, fullness and various stylistic characteristics, since in the timely world they are closely related to the social reality of society, the political situation, the economic state both in a particular country and the world as a whole. They also have certain coordination with the customs and religion of social groups and communities. Factual news defines and focuses people to achieve certain goals both personally and socially. News reports are filled with different linguistic and cultural components that reflect the mood and attitude of their compilers, authors, as well as their manner and linguistic content should form a certain attitude to the information provided by those people to whom this news is addressed. News information cannot be generated exclusively in one language and only in one country. Therefore, there is a need to translate news from language to language, thus distributing them around the world. In this article we consider the main features and difficulties of translating news information from Russian into Chinese. The described research was conducted on the basis of translation of the news text from authentic sources of information from one or another linguistic culture of the two countries.
