The article is devoted to the study of social entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan. The article reflects the results of sociological research on the perception of social entrepreneurship of different focus groups (stu dents, social entrepreneurs, representatives of socially vulnerable groups, government authorities).As a result of a research the efficiency of the existing mechanisms in terms of awareness of target audience on their existence was estimated; determined the level of attractiveness of social entrepreneurship; identified problems of social entrepreneurship development and effective measures for its state support.
