In article various approaches to the problem of efficient use of the latest technological possibilities of mass media are presented. As the author proves, the union of verbal and nonverbal means of language urged to open the maintenance of the presented audience of the information seems to be more complete. The analysis of domestic and foreign experience allows to conclude that traditional printing mass media can be transformed quite successfully, keeping thus all typological characteristics peculiar to them and advantages.
