Digital innovations in education: perspectives and challenges for universities Modern vocational education is faced with the necessity to adapt to rapidly changing technological trends. The digital transformation of the educational and upbringing processes of the university is becoming an increasingly urgent problem in the modern educational context. The article discusses the relevance of the digital transformation of the educational process at universities and reveals the pedagogical essence of the phenomenon of “digital educational environment” and “digital career environment”. Various types of digital educational resources are considered, including work with the digital career platform “Facultetus” and the digital system for recording youth activity “Youth of Russia”. The authors of the article analyzed the results of a survey of students of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Sakhalin State University” in the direction of training “Pedagogical Education”. The most popular digital educational resources were identified, as well as the reasons why students do not use digital educational resources. Among the most popular resources were online courses, electronic textbooks, interactive tasks and tests, as well as video lectures. In conclusion, the article presents the advantages and disadvantages of using digital educational resources in the educational process of the university. The digital transformation of educational and upbringing processes at universities is a necessary part of modern education. Understanding the essence of the digital educational and career environment, as well as the effective use of digital educational resources, will help universities provide quality education for future professionals.
