The article describes investigation of solar photovoltaic energy system in the Ural region, the changes of input voltage and efficiency of each element in the experimental solar power system has been measured. The value of electric energy production per 1 m 2 of the photovoltaic cell was obtained, energy losses for each element of the solar power system has been identified. Based on these studies recommendations to improve the energy efficiency of solar power stations in Ural region have been formulated.
