Lead, zinc, arsenic are the constant companions of copper in its ores. Due to the deterioration of the received concentrates and involvement in recycling of secondary raw materials, these impurities are increasingly accumulating in semi-products of copper-smelting production, most often collecting in fine dusts. Recovering these dusts for pyrometallurgical process- ing will lead to contamination of draft copper with arsenic and lead.2МЕТА ЛЛУРГ • № 12 • 2018 In article results on sulfuric acid autoclave leaching of dusts by OJSC SUMZ and dusts, obtained after recovery melting, containing a significant amount of lead and arsenic along with copper and zinc are discussed. The influence of tempera- ture and acid concentration on indicators of autoclave leaching was studied in this work. Optimum parameters of leaching of dust have been obtaines: t = 160 °C, H2SO4/(Pb+Zn+Cu) = 2,1, PO = 0,3 MPas, τ = 2 hours as at these parameters themost achievable extents of leaching of arsenic, copper and zinc are observed.Direct oxidizing vitriolic autoclave leaching thin dusts allows extraction of up to 89% copper and 92% zinc. Arsenic passes into a cake in the form of iron arsenates, which complicates its further processing. For an exception of sedimentation of arsenic at autoclave leaching it is necessary to remove arsenic from dust where it is present at a type of the oxidized con- nections therefore for his extraction it is possible to use atmospheric vitriolic leaching. During 2 stages of atmospheric and autoclave oxidative leaching, it was succeeded to extract up to, % 93 Cu, 96 Zn, 99 As.
