Currently, due to the increasing demand for transport infrastructure, the objective of the productivity improvement during the manufacturing of welded elements of bridge metal structures is becoming increasingly important. In the article it is proposed to use two-electrode welding to ensure high-quality formation of seams with legs of 8 mm or more during one-pass welding in 2F position. The use of computer modeling of such process has shown the possibility of obtaining an acceptable formation of a fillet weld with a certain positioning of the electrodes relative to the welded joint, which leads to the formation of an asymmetric weld pool and the subsequent asymmetric solidification, taking place mainly from the flange to the web, which improves the formation of the weld surface, and decreases the meniscus at the web and influx on the flange. On the basis of the obtained results, the welding modes for two-electrode submerged arc welding during the production of fillet welds were determined.
