The article is given a theoretical analysis of the main provisions of the subject-activity approach to the problem of the formation of personality by the subject of activity and self-development. There are analyzes the views and positions of the authors taking into account the importance of the Theory of self-development for the practice of educational activities. The idea of conscious and creative activity as a necessary factor for the development of students as well for their self-development is supported. The presented theoretical principles can be use into the development of educational strategies of innovative education. The article presents the experience of the implementation of the international program of two diplomas. It was сconsidered new forms of education and of the organization of scientific work of students.
