In present-day Russia mortgage lending is the only way housing acquisition in fact. Because of the unstable economic environment in the world and constant interest rate change for a loan, the housing issue is quite acute among people. In particular this applies to «young families», wishing to obtain their own housing. All this makes us think about alternative options for obtaining housing - about renting. The purpose of this article is analyze and identify the main problems of mortgage credit lending a «young family» and rent of living quarters, and determination of feasibility this or that model of housing acquisition by a «young family». In the process of research problems of mortgage lending a «young family» and rental housing were used methods of logical and statistical analysis. In result of research were detected main problems of mortgage lending a «young family» and rent a living quarters. The comparative calculation and conclusion were made about advisability this or that model of housing acquisition and the recommended events are shown, that aimed at increasing the pace of development and attractiveness of renting housing for «young families».
