A study aimed at determining the attitude of teachers to the technological aspects present in their educational practice is presented. The research methodology is based on the developments of engineering didactics of the UrFU Higher School of Engineering, CDIO methodology and approaches of system engineering to the analysis of complex systems. To work with terminology, the technique of “explication of concepts” is used, which is a logical procedure aimed at achieving definiteness of terminology in social cognition. The study was conducted in partnership with professionals interested in the development of their competencies, with their participation the conceptual space was formed and technological aspects were highlighted, which determined the practical significance of the study. The results of a survey carried out in order to identify which aspects are present in teaching practice; what exactly teachers consider to be the most significant for themselves; to find out whether traditional methods have lost their importance and what place on-line technologies occupy today in their activities. The article is based on the materials of expert discussions organized by the UrFU Higher School of Engineering with the involvement of representatives of the professional community of system engineers (INCOSE). It includes the results of a survey of teachers conducted during the Winter School of the Yurite Academy in 2021, showing the attitude of teachers to the technological aspects of teaching.
