The article is dedicated to development and application of pedagogical teaching technologies in contemporary higher education. We underline the fundamental role of philosophy in higher education and realization of human potential in the sphere of cognition. Great attention is paid to active forms of teaching in the contemporary course of philosophical knowledge. As an example we take such an active teaching form as discussion-game. We also analyze possibilities and pedagogical effect of such an application.
