At present, in connection with the changed social and economic realities and the active transformation of the world of professions, transprofessional specialists are in demand, especially in the field of technomical professions. It seems obvious that it is necessary to form trans professional competencies at the university level. In this regard, we propose a model for the development of transprofessional competencies among engineers, which represents a gradual progress in the stages of training from professional to trans professional. It is assumed that the use of this model will contribute to the formation of students’ professional mobility, skills in polyprofessional teams, building individual trajectories of professional development, which will allow future professionals to avoid professional uselessness in the context of a fast change of technological patterns and the dying out of professions.
